【新年愿望的英语作文】As the old year comes to an end and a new one begins, people all around the world start thinking about their New Year's resolutions. These are promises we make to ourselves to improve our lives in the coming year. Although some may seem small, they can have a big impact on our daily habits and overall well-being.
For me, my New Year’s resolution is to become more disciplined in my studies. I used to procrastinate a lot, which made it hard for me to keep up with my schoolwork. This year, I want to change that by setting a regular study schedule and staying focused on my goals. I also plan to read more books to expand my knowledge and improve my English skills.
Another goal I have is to be healthier. I often stay up late and don’t eat properly, which affects my energy levels and concentration. So, I’ve decided to go to bed earlier and eat more balanced meals. I also hope to exercise regularly, maybe by going for a run or playing sports with friends.
In addition to personal goals, I want to be more helpful to others. I believe that small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s day. I will try to be more patient and kind to those around me, whether it’s at home, school, or in the community.
New Year’s resolutions are not just about making promises; they’re about taking action. It might be difficult to stick to them, but with determination and support from family and friends, I believe I can achieve what I set out to do. I hope that this year brings me growth, happiness, and success.
